What is your internet community strategy?

I believe that online networking is a process for individualism and self-development in which we try to profile our true selves. We all try to reach out to matching people across the globe in order to be effective in what we would like to Be.

I studied International law and Dutch Law at Leiden University and thus became a Dr juris in 1994. After that I struggled for a few years as a corporate lawyer discovering that it had much more to do with paperwork than with people before I switched over to Marketing & Consultancy positions at Ernst & Young, Credit Suisse and Unisys (1998-2003). I 2003 started the process towards where I am today, as an Independent Internet Strategist.

I started the international OpenNetworkers.info initiative in order to create a syndicated platform of joint online groups serving one purpose; let people and companies express themselves on the platform of their choice but ad the power of reaching other people on other platforms. I used my experience from popular networks and created business communities according to my own values and beliefs. The business communities have one thing in common: to reach out across the internet to targeted people matching not only personal interests, but more importantly matching personalities. This led to my system of networking styles which are now at the heart of the Initiative. The value lies in the people using the network, not in the technologies of the network itself although the symbioses of the 2 elements enables targeted marketing and matching to the high business ROI I bring to my clients.
